As a dancer for majority of my life, in my opinion, one of the many blessings in preparing for any major shift, event, moment or opportunity in life is what I call the “behind the curtain” prep work. (Not realized until recently of course)
As the excitement builds, it is often during this process that you identify new things concerning what you’re preparing for, and have the opportunity to work out fine details, needed adjustments, and part of this includes learning new things about yourself in the process.
In the time that the HER brand has been in existence, I have learned not only what it needs in order to be impactful, what YOU need, in order for it to impact you, and how I can aid in that process… your process.
So, where is the encouragement in this post?
Don’t forsake the “Behind the Scenes” part of your journey.
The part of your journey that no one sees, yet is of utmost importance to the building of your character, and the part of your story that will impact those surrounding you. It is in THIS part, that you get into position, anticipate, get excited, and let GOD work out the fine kinks!
Life is a platform to testify of His Grace and Goodness, and you’ve been selected for the lead role in your story. Let me be the first to say congratulations!
You are the creation & He’s creating something beautiful in and through you. I see you working hard, and I am proud of who you are becoming.
[A little secret, you spend most of your time back stage, making the actual performance and moments of need, as if it happens in an instant, so it ought to be worth it.]
Are you ok with enduring a prolonged process for only what “seems/feels” like short moments of “performance?”
[“Do not despise the day of small beginnings for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin” – Zechariah 4:10]
